We’ve heard local reports of a strong increase in new car sales over February – but February was terrible. According to this article in the Detroit Free Press, new car sales are showing their strongest month since last year’s federal incentive program. Though the adjusted numbers may indicate a greater than 12 million unit year, the NADA says maybe not. Demand was slowed due to high snowfalls in many areas last month and some of these sales may have just been delayed due to the storms.
